Do you have a reliable vehicle and a willingness to help our animals get where they need to go? We’re often looking for dedicated transporter volunteers to move dogs, cats, and essential materials from one location to another. This vital role directly supports our foster program, veterinary care, and adoption efforts!
Transportation tasks vary, and we post specific requests for assistance as they arise. These might include:
- Pet Transport: Picking up an incoming animal from a transport, taking a pet to and from veterinary appointments, or helping move animals to and from adoption events.
- Donation Pick-Ups: Collecting donations from local stores.
For any tasks involving the movement or handling of animals, we require volunteers to sign a volunteer release form for liability. This form is updated and signed annually.
If you have some flexibility and want to make a tangible difference in the lives of our animals, becoming a transporter is a fantastic way to help!
Ready to hit the road for a great cause? Please contact EAPL at 303-674-6442 or eaplevergreen@eapl.com to learn more about becoming a transportation volunteer.
