At the EAPL Thrift Shop, every purchase has a purpose. We’re a Colorado-owned and Colorado-loved nonprofit thrift store that has grown alongside the Evergreen community, and all proceeds directly support the animals rescued by the Evergreen Animal Protective League. Donations
Please keep in mind, we are volunteer-based with limited staff and resell items to raise money for the animals. Any help in ensuring donated items are clean, gently used, and in ok working order is much appreciated!
We are happy to consider furniture donations when space allows.
To help us determine if we can accept your item, please email photos in advance to: thriftshop@eapl.com.
To keep our shop safe and manageable, we are unable to accept the following items:
- Children’s clothing or items
- Mattresses or mattress pads
- Bed pillows
- Hazardous materials
- Large electronics (TVs, stereos, free-standing speakers or subwoofers)
- Hardwired fixtures
- VHS tapes or cassette tapes
- Helmets
- Bed frames
- Large appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc.)
Small appliances such as microwaves are okay. Small electronics that are easy to test may be accepted.
If you are unsure whether we can accept a specific item, please call us at 303-679-2504 before bringing it in.

Our story & your impact
The Evergreen Animal Protective League Thrift Shop first opened its doors in 2006 as a small, two-room space in a former Habitat for Humanity store. What began as a modest operation quickly grew thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and the supportive Evergreen community.
As the shop continued to grow, so did its impact. We eventually moved into our current location and completed a full remodel in 2015 to better serve both our shoppers and the animals who depend on us.
Today, the EAPL Thrift Shop is a quirky, welcoming, and eclectic place to treasure hunt for a cause. From seasonal décor and one-of-a-kind vintage finds to everyday essentials, our bright and carefully curated space offers something new to discover with every visit — all while supporting a meaningful mission.
