Did you know you can help support EAPL just by shopping at King Soopers or City Market—without spending an extra penny?
EAPL is part of King Soopers’ Community Rewards Program, which donates over $10 million annually to local nonprofits. This program, launched in April 2019, distributes up to $125,000 per quarter to participating organizations based on the percentage of total spending by their supporters.
The more EAPL supporters who enroll and shop, the more funding we receive! While we can’t see individual donor info due to privacy laws, every participant helps make a big impact.

Colorado Gives Day is more than just a day of giving; it’s a movement that strengthens our community. When you donate to EAPL through ColoradoGives.org, your contribution goes further thanks to the Incentive Fund. One of the largest of its kind in the country, this fund proportionally increases every donation made, ensuring your gift has the maximum impact on the lives of our rescue animals.

Located on Meadow Drive (across from Da Kind Soups), our Thrift Shop supports EAPL’s rescue efforts through every purchase and donation.
Drop off your gently used items and pick up a tax receipt—then browse for a bargain while you’re here!

Memorial Donations
We accept and acknowledge memorial donations for pets and humans. We also send out birthday and holiday greetings when donations are received on another’s behalf.
So that we may personalize our acknowledgement, please include the pet or person’s name and any information that might help us, and be sure to include a name and mailing address for the person we should notify.

We are staffed entirely by caring volunteers. We have no paid employees, with the exception of our 3 employees at the Thrift Shop, and are not supported by taxes. All funding comes from donations from the public, from adoption fees, from grants, and from fund raising activities.
Donations make it possible for us to meet our mission statement: to continue provide aid to lost, abandoned and suffering animals through rescue, shelter, and education. None of this work would be possible without financial support from people who care.
We are very grateful for the support we receive and acknowledge our donors, but NEVER give out our donors’ information. A receipt is sent if requested and is automatic for amounts over $250. Our 501(c)(3) tax exempt number is 74-2204391. EAPL will add you to our email list if you request, but our email list is also private.
Turn your empty cartridges into support for EAPL! We accept used, discarded, or out-of-date ink and toner cartridges of all shapes and sizes.
Each month, EAPL recycles these cartridges to earn reward dollars that cover our essential office supplies and printing costs. This small act of recycling helps us keep our administrative overhead low so more of our funds can go directly to the animals.
