Set-Up and Event Support for Pet Adoption Events
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help us make our pet adoption events a success! These events are crucial for connecting our wonderful animals with their forever families, and they wouldn’t be possible without dedicated support.
We always need an extra set of hands for setting up and breaking down our event spaces. Typically, we begin setting up about 15 minutes before the event officially starts. You can find all of our upcoming event dates and locations listed on our website.
During the events themselves, volunteers play a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly and our pets get the attention they deserve. Responsibilities include:
- Walking and handling our adoptable pets
- Showcasing animals to potential adopters
- Managing puppy viewing areas (which can get quite popular!)
- Assisting with pen clean-up to keep our furry friends comfortable
- Setting up displays: For some events, we have a variety of merchandise that needs attractive “window” or “minuet” displays to encourage attendees to bid. If you love arranging items and creating eye-catching presentations, this role is perfect for you!
